NEW VOLUNTEERS
SITTING OF MEDICAL BOARD THIRTY-ONE RECRUITS ATTEND At the sitting of the Military Medical Board in Whakatane yesterday thirty-one new A*olunteers for the second Echelon were examined. Drawn from the town and surrounding district the men Avere all of a good class and set a high physical standard. The actual number passing as fit has not been announced but it is anticipated thai with the military authorities undertaking to attend to bad teeth in future in camp the majority of those presenting themselves Avill be successful.
