WHAKATANE v. TANEATUA A challenge match for the B Gup was played at Taneatua last luesclay and resulted in a "win for Taneatua on points. Mrs Shaw and Mrs Conar beat Mrs Moore and Mrs Grave; Mrs Chamberlain and Mrs Norris lost to Mrs Mitchell and Mrs* Hill. AlTernoon g;iin?s: Mrs Shnw and Mrs Coinar beat Mrs Moore nnd Mrs Grcae: .Mrs Chamberlain and Mrs Norris lost to Mrs Hill and Mrs Mitchell. Luncheon and afternon tea was provided by the Taneatua ladies, and a very happy day was spent on the lawns. WHAKATANE v. OPOTIKI Representatives of the Opotiki Citizens' Bowling Club visited Vv'hakatane on Monday to play for the Bay of Plenty A Championship. Opotiki lost by 10 points to Whakatane.
