TO-MORROW'S PRESENTATION GATHERING NEAR WHITE PINE BUSH Another instance of public gratitude for a lifetime of studied work and endless endeavour in the general welfare of the residents of the South ern Bay of Plenty, will take place to-morrow, when Mr J. W. Sumner will be honoured by a special gathering of farmers, iowns people and others at the residence of Mr W. R. Boon, White Pine Bush. Mr Sumner, who holds office in numerous public bodies and local organisations, is well known to all on the Plains, and few have to be reminded of the liberal manner in which he has given of his time and substance in order to serve the people he represents. It is hoped to-morrow to make the gathering as widely representative as . possible and to this end. all who know and respect' both Mr and Mrs Sumner 1 are asked to make' a' point of attending.
