RECENTLY MARRIED COUPLE

A large number of guests were present at the home of Mr and Mrs G. Barrow to celebrate the homecoming of their eldest son, Jack, and his wife, who were recently married in Whakatanc. The evening was spent in misic, songs and recitation, and the time passed all too quickly. The toast to the guests of the evening was capably proposed by Mr J. Bennett, and drunk with musical honours. On behalf of the guests, Mr Harris proposed a hearty vote of thanks to Mr and Mrs :Barrow for their hospitality, Mr Barrow respond ing on behalf of his wife and himself, expressing the pleasure at seeing so many present.
