PUBLIC NOTICE WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held November 13, 1939, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the Council, meeting to be held December 11, 1939, at 7.30 p.m. at the Borough Council Chambers, Whakatane. RESOLUTION. In pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in It by the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, the Health Act 1920, the Bylaws Act 1910, and all acts amending the same respectively and of all and cach of every other power and authority thereunto in that behalf enabling it, the Whakatane Borough Council, acting on behalf of the Mayor Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Whakatane doth hereby by Special Order make this By-flaw. The purport of the resolution is to m-ike provision for the registration and/or licensing, within the Borough, of premises used for any of the following purposes: —As an eating house, as a bake house, for the storage or sale of bread or pastry, for the storage or sale or any process of preparation of meat or fat of animals or of poultry or fish for human food, for the storage or sale of milk or cream, for the storage or sale of fruit or vegetables, for the manufacture preparation storage or sale of ice cream or ices cordials syrups aerated waters or beverages; also for the licensing of vehicles used within the Borough for the delivery of food for sale; and prescribing fees for registration and licensing.
