FINE WEEK-END
VISITORS TO OHOPE
THE APPROACH OF SUMMER
With the breaking of the weather following a week of rain and gale, hundreds of visitors, excursionists, and campers spent the week-end at Oliope Beach which is beginning to assume the animated appearance of
he mid-summer season.
Accommodation is now practically at a premium and the motor camp already lias a large number of patrons. All along the beach camping parties are preparing baches and cottages lor the Christmas and Ncav Year season. With the warm sunshine beating on the surf, there were few yesterday who could resist a dip and at one stage the strand in front of the hostel must have had at least fifty bathers on it.
It will be time now for the Surf Club to get busy.
