PERSONAL
Mr Arthur Jeffares, of Salonika Street, has been awarded a gold medal as the result of securing 93 points and first place in the practical examination conducted by the Electrical Wiremen's Registration Board of New Zealand. Mr Jeffares, who is nineteen years of age, is at present apprenticed to Messrs D. McL. Wallace (Whakatane) Ltd.
