COST OF POWER
Sir, —I cannot help but make some complaining reference, to the exces- * s'ive charges instituted in the district for electricity. Compared with other centres where I have, lived the levy here is simply staggering. Speak ing of Ohope where I have a friend staying at present, I find that with the slot meter it costs them no less than a shilling a day and 10s per month for the heater. This is only normal use too. Cannot something be done to lift this burden. Yours etc., CHEAPER POWER. *
