VALUES EASIER Messrs Dalgety and Co,, Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly pig sale on Tuesday Avhen a large yarding of baconers came forward. Store pigs and weaners Were also yarded in large numbers. There was a large and representativeattendance of buyers. Baconers showed an easing tendency, whilst there was a steady demand for buttermilk pigs at slight ]y lower rates. Weaners also showed a slight drop. Realisations: Heavy prime baconers £3 os to £3 9s, medium weight baconcrs £2 17s (id to £3 -Js, li;|h,t. baconcrs £2 12s 6d to £2 15s, porkers £2 to £2 7s 6d, stores 35s to £2, slips 27s Gd to 355, weaners 15s to 255.
| HAMILTON SALE The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— Sheep: At Frank ton sale on Tuesday a .full yarding of all classes of fat sheep met a steady demand, values remaining on a par with last week's rates, with the exception perhaps of a slight easing tendency towards the end of the sale. Fat lambs were yarded in larger numbers and maintained slightly higher values, while store sheep again met a ready sale. Cattle-: A good yarding of all classes of cattle and A'alues easily maintained last week's quotations. A truck of medium prime bullocks from Mrs M. P. Goosman, Morrinsvill'e, made from £11 to £11 18s, a consignment from Glcncoe Station from £11 to £11 17s, a truck Claudelands from £10 35s to £11 12s, two trucks of prime Polled Angus cows and heifers from Mr ,T. C. Fleming, Whakatane, sold from £0" 5s to £9 19s. A large entry of boner cows sol,d freely at late rates while a good entry of store cattle crcated keen competition and a complete clearance effected. Pigs: A smaller yarding of fat pigs. Competition was not as keen as last week and prices a shade easier. A medium entrj r of store pigs, bidding for which was not as keen as previously with prices slightly easier.
