PRICES AT TE TEIvO ,
The New Zealand Loan ami Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports a heavy yarding of cattle at Te Tcko last Tuesday. Prices were very satisfactory and a total clearance was i effected. A line of nine choice springing Jersey heifers made £8 with others from £4 10s to £7 17s 6d. Approximately 130 yearling and 2-year Jersey heifers were penned and made from £3 15s to £5. In the beef section prime Holstein and Shorthorn cows from Mr Alex. McLean made £7 16s. Heavy prime Jersey cows on account Holdsworth Bros. £7 Is to £7 6s. Lighter prime Jersey cows and heifers from £5 15s to £6 4s. Good klllable cows from £4 to £5 10. Boner cows from £1 10s to £4 according to weight. Potter bulls from £3 7s 6d to £7 2s 6d. A pen of wethers in the wool £1 4s 6cl.
