In response to widespread requests the BEACON will re-open this feature in its tri-weekly publication. Advertisers desiring to make use of this calendar must undertake to utilise a minimum of 2 inches space ai the standard rate of 4s per inch. Events will be limited to one month in advance. Dec 2 —Presbyterian Church Bazaar. Dec 5th —Grand Variety Concert, Bell's Edgecumbe Hall, in aid of Red Cross Funds. Dec 9 —Bay of Plenty Amateur Athletic Championship, Whakatane Domain. Dec 11—Taneatua W T ild West Fancy - Dress Dance Dec 18 —Annual Hospital Dance, Taneatua. December 26—Dance, Awakeri Hall.
