♦ MONTHLY MEETING PLAY PRESENTED The monthly meeting of the League of Mothers was held in the Knox Presbyterian Hall on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs Sullivan presided over a good attendance of members and friends. The Rev. K. J. Watson gave a very interesting address on the "Aims and Objects" of the League, which was greatly appreciated. Mrs K. Armstrong rendered two solos "Vilma" and "Sally" very pleas ingly and Mrs Good sang "Caprice" and "The Lying Little Daisy," in her usual charming manner. A playette entitled "Dresden China" was given by several members of the Drama Circle of the Women's Institute. The parts were taken by Mrs Norman,, Mrs Sims, Mrs Darvill, Mrs Albertson, Mrs Thomas, Mrs Murphy and Mrs K. Armstrong. A hearty vote of thanks to the players was carried by acclamation. Afternoon tea was served by the committee.
