YOUNG MAN IN COURT
YEAR-OLD CHARGE REVIVED
When Norman Langley Roland appeared before Messrs G. A. Brab^
ant and R. W„ Schofield, J.P.s in the Whakatane courthouse yesterday morning he pleaded guilty to the theft of tools and appliances to thft value of £4 2s 3d, the property of Messrs A. M. Bisley and Co., Hamilton .
Constable Fuller said the offence was committed at Hamilton almost a year ago when defendant was a member of the firm. He had been arrested at Otakiri, where he had been working on a farm.
Roland was convicted and charged, an order being made for the return of the stolen goods or their value.
