HELLYAR CUP
On Thursday last a match between Whakatanc and Taneatua for tlic Hellyar Cup wa? played on the Whn katane greens and resulted in a win for Whakatanc. Details of the games arc as follows. the Taneatua players being mentioned first :— ■ Mesdames Moore and (Trace lost to Mesdames Healy ami Gibberd. Mesdames Marsden and Mitchell lost to Mesdames Hellyar and Comar. Mesdames Hill and McGougan lost to Boon and Loane. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, and a very enjoyable lime was spent.
