Notwithstanding a few defections among the top play crs, another successful season is anticipated and the usual keen competition is assured. The Tauranga Club are holders of tlie Dunlop Shield and Watt Cup and their team will be much the same. Two new te-nms in Waimana and Rangitaiki have entered the Dunlop Shield event and should make this competition more enjoyable.
