Nails One Hundred Years Old. Hand-made nails a hundred years old are being used in the construction of the pioneer hut in the wo-1 men's section at the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition. The hut, which will be the main feature -of Ihe North Island women's exhibit, will be a replica of an early settler's home about the 1840 period. Some of the nails are from the Bay of Islands and some from Petone. They were usednbriginally in early settlers' dwellings.
