THOROUGHBREDS OF GISBORNE
Season by season, with consistent regularity, Gisborne produces thoroughbred horses of note, capable of 'ning up with the best fields in the Dominion. One of the latest finds in that district is Native Song, who was never really extended to win two races at the Poverty Bay fixture. He promises to run out ox hacks very shortly, and will then be prepared to give a taste of his duality at the Auckland mid-summc fixture.
