TOMORROW'S FLOWER SHOW

Tomorrow will see the annual display of flowers at tne Par ish Hall, when the Whakatane Horticultural Society will stage its exhibition. Already the entries in all classes are strong, and from reports a record show is expected. From a recreational paint of view, there are few occupations, more beneficial than the production of flowers. In Kipling s words "That God Almighty Sees, that every honest Gardener's work is done upon his knees!" the essential inspiration of flower culture is very beautifully and aptly described. Fortunately Whakatane, and district can boast a large per centage of flower lovers, and there us every reason to believe that tomorrows event will see an excellent display viewed by a growing and appreciative number of visitors in afternoon and evening.
