LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting was held in Knox Presbyterian Hall on Tuesday afternoon last. Mrs Sullivan presided over a good attendance of members and friends. After the business had been disposed of a short discussion was held on the teachings and writings of the foundress of the Anglican Mothers Union.

Mrs A. Hawkens then gave a very interesting and descriptive address on Westminster Abbey and St Paul's Cathedral. This address was greatly appreciated by all present, as also were the photographs which Mrs Hnwken passed around for inspection. At the conclusion, the speaker was heartily applauded.

The November meeting will be a social afternoon, at which the Sunshine Circle will collect gifts suitable for the hospital.
