LARGE CROWD AT DOMAIN
The first meeting 6f vviiiU promises to be a successful series Avas h(dd at the Domain on Wednesday evetl= ing when the WhaUatanc Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club staged a list of varied competitions.
Because the events started early the attendance was only moderate at the commencement but increased later and a larg3 crowd witnessed the finals. The club was favoured with ideal weather for athletics, a clear, warm atmosphere, with a slight breeze cooling the temperature as it crossed the ground. Following are the results : Junior Boys' 50yds: Seaberg 1, G. Ramson 2, E. Hislop 3. Senior Boys' 7.7 yds: Raj-mond, scr, 1, E. Hunt 3yds, 2, J. Buddie, scr, 3. Junior Girls 50yds: Doherty 1, Harrison 2, Chadwiclc 3. Senior Girls' 75yds: Wilson, Lyons dead Jieat 1, Howat 3. Senior Men's 7s?ytls—JFirst Heat: W. Chambers scr, 1, D. Berry 6yds, 2, R.
