From Prague it is reliably stated that no less than <10 Czechs were killed in the street clashes with the police following Saturday's demonstrations, while many more were injured. Similar reports are received from other towns.
It is reported that approximately 1000 Jews, homeless and destitute are living in No Man's Land on the Lithuanian border.
The German Freedom Station broadcasting last night pointed out that whereas in other countries all men were treated as equal, in Germany they were never free from the fear of arrest, which was even car-* ried into the army.
Though no less than 13,000 enemy aliens have been interrogated by the British authorities only 186 have been interned. It is anticipated that no less than twelve British divisions will be avail able for fighting with the Allied forces in France in the spring. Approximately half a million men are available. Of the 2500 vessels making voyages under the British naval convoy system during the past week only eight were lost. Britain's submarinefighting forces have been trebled [since the war began.
