PARISH HALL GATHERING

EVENING FOR PAROA COUPLE

An event of interest for a wide district was tlie kitchen evening held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evening as a gesture to Miss Jean Goile, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Goile of Paroa.. A good assembly, drawn from Paroa, Whakatane and Awakeri, danced to music played by Mrs Armstrong and extras provided by Mr Mick Penny.

Mr Arthur Wiggins replied on behalf of his fiancee after Miss Goile had received the presents on the introduction of I\lr T. P. Shaw, who controlled the function as M.C.
