ALMOST AT STANDSTILL
THE WESTERN FRONT
The lull on the Western Front where three of the largest armies in modern times face each other, was. according to a French communique issued last night, even more marked, during the past twelve hours. There were a few isolated encounters between patrols. Otherwise the fighting was practically at a complete standstill.
