FAREWELL AFTERNOON (Beacon Correspondent) A most pleasant afternoon was spent at the Nukuhou North School last Friday;, when the parents and gathered to bid farewell to the schoolmistress, Miss Glare. The guest of honour had been teaching at the Nukuhou School i'or several years and had won the affection of all. During the function, Mr R. Axtens, on behalf of the parents an J pupils presented Miss Clare with a beautiful teaset and wished her every success and best wishes for lier future. Miss Clare suitably replied, and thanked all for the many kindnesses shown to her during her stay at Nukuhou North. The children played games etc. and a dainty tea was served by the ladies and "Aukl Lang -Syne" closed the afternoon.
