PERSONAL
Inspector G. B. Edwards (Gisborne) arrived in Whakatane on Friday to pay his usual visit of inspection to stations. He was a-guest at the Commercial Hotel.
Mr J. Henry, Victoria Avenue, has returned to Whakatane after a visit to England. He left on his homeward journeyed before war was declared, the notification of hostilities coming, when the ship was near Gibraltar.
