Altered Boundary
Presumably shifted by some person with a grievance against the Tauranga County Council, the boundary peg between the Tauranga and Rotorua counties on the RotoruaTauranga highway, was discovered by the Rotorua engineer, Mr T. S. Robertson, to be a mile further to the east than it should have been. The boundary as shifted included a particularly difficult surface to keep in order, and the shifting was apparently a hint to the Rotorua County Council to take over the section.
