POPULARITY IN DISTRICT During the past few year; the farm tractor has come Into its own in th" district and is fast superseding the horse for field cultivation. One of the chief advantages of the tractor is that large areas can be ploughed in quick time even during periods of bad weather. The tractors which were used in the district many years ago proved themselves to lie quite unsuitable and the tractor fell into <ii.;favour as a result of many unfortunate experiences.
