HARBOURMASTER'S REPORT There "were eighteen arrivals and eighteen departures for the period, said the harbourmaster, Captain G. Carey, in Ills report to the Whakatanc Harbour Board y submitted at Friday's meeting. The deepest water was in the western channel which had varied 3rom a minimum of Gft 6in. to 9ft. He had been employed on work at the signal station and had completed the concreting of paths. The lavatoiy had now been installed on the Port Whakatane and the job was almost complete.
