COMBINED MEETING (By Zetland) The flags will be flying at Gate Pa on Saturday and. Monday on the occasion, of the combined two day's meeting of the .Bay of Plenty Racing Club and the Rotorua-Bav of Plenty Hunt Club. Under fine weather conditions there will be a large attendance of the lovers ail "The Sport of Kings" and with very satisfactory acceptances and the fact that a big percentage of the candidates are in forward condition, the racing should be keen throughout the fixture. The programme will open on Saturday with the Novice Handicap, ever a popular event, notwithstanding that the majority of the entrants are practically unknown, and which makes the task Oil selecting a probable winner more difficult! than usual.
