BACHELORS' DANCE
PLEASANt EVENING

J The bachelors' dance held in the Waimana Hall last Monday evening and organised by the Young Farmers' Club, was quite a success. The hall was well filled with happy dancers from all surrounding districts. Excellent music was played by McDougall's Hot Scots orchestra from Opotiki. The new dance "Boomps-a-Daisy"' was danced for the first time and caused much laughter. Mr A. Wardlaw capably acted as M.C. and Mr D. Woolficld was doorkeeper . The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr J. Perfect and partner.. Extras were played by Miss M. Wardlaw and Mr A. Wardlaw. A dainty supper was served, after which dancing continued till a late hour. Among those present were: Mesdames E. P.
