LYCEUM CLUB

SOCIAL AFTERNOON A very enjoyable afternoon was spent in the Club's rooms last Thursday afternoon when a dramatic play called "Shelter for the Night'' by Helen Nicholson was performed. The cast was: Luis Ping, Mrs Littlejohn; Mrs Appleby; Connie, Miss B. Allan; Mrs French, Mrs H. Armstrong; Pamela, Mrs C. Thomas; Tony Mrs Morice; Lola Alvarez, Mrs E. Armstrong; Patrick Dudley, Mrs D. Pear.sc.

Two enjoyable songs were also given bv Mrs Warner, was accompanied by Mrs E. Armstrong. The new piano, a valuable asset to the club's rooms was very much admired by those present. Tea and chat brought the afternoon to a close. Among the audience were Mrs J. Hawken, Mrs W. Roberts, Mrs W. Bridger Mrs Warner, Mrs C. Southey Mrs A. Hayter, Mrs Fletcher-CoIe } Misses Greenup and Whiteside,.
