Late on Wednesday night or early

on Thursday morning the premises, of Mr C. Rhodes, hairdresser and tobacconist, were broken into and goods to the value of about r!-G were stolen.. Entry was in a tie to the premises "through a door lending to llp.c billiard room at the rear oi! the shop. The door had apparently been prise:! ■open the woodwork showing nnmis-takeable-signs of a jemmy or other instrument having been used. The matter is in the hands of the police.
