BIG CARGOES HANDLED SEVERAL BOATS IN With three boats in this week and another expected to-day the Whakatane Avhar.f is extremely busy, and the eight or ten lorries lined up out side the sheds yesterday made one realise that a vast quantity of goo:ls is handled through the toAA T U. In the middle of the Aveck Parry Brothers' Vesper came in and discharged general cargo, leaA T ing again for Auckland Avith timber, petrol drums, and empty beer kegs and cases of bottles The Northern Company's Otimai and Clansman were also in.. The Clansman brought a 'full cargo in on Wednesday and yesterday she Avent up to the Paper Mills, loading about* 63 tons of goods there. About 500 sacks of maize are also included in her cargo. The Otimai has a part cargo of about 80 tons. The Waiotahi Avill call here today to pick up butter, of Avhich she Avill take about 3000 boxes and also about 220 crates of cheese.
