There were present: Messrs K. D. Page J. A. Stenhouse, C. S Jarvis C. W. Johnstone, A. 9 Bullock-Douglas and C. J. Steedman (Hon. Secretary). Apologies were received for the absence of Mr H. Louden (Vice-Presi-dent), Mr D. A. Ivory (President, Tauranga Club), and Mr G. Peebles (Taneatua), Mr Page was elected to the chair. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. Thfe report and balance sheet was taken as read, and adopted. Reference was made by the president to the very successful season experienced, r.nd to the definite improvement in play and playing facilities throughout the Bay, and although the war made it probable that this standard would be.-difficult to maintain, it was hoped ,that the coming season. would , also be mostf satisfactory. Last season's officials were elected unopposed. TVey were: President. Mr K. D. Page; vice-president, Mr H. Louden; committee member, Mr J. A. Stenhouse; hon secretary and treasurer. Mr C, J. Steedman; hon Mr C. S. Jarvis; delegates to Auckland Lawn Tennis Association Messrs Spencer Lamb,, Percy Harrison and A. M. Spooner. East-West and Inter-Association Matches: Owing to the uncertainty of conditions due ,to the war, it was left to the executive to make what arrangements it thinks best. Country Week: The president reported that the coming season's country week tournament would be held in Auckland in January. It was decided that the Association be represented if thought advisable by the executive. The tournament would be part of the Auckland Association Cen tennial function. Dunlop Shield, Watt, and Morton Cup matches: It was decided that these competitions be continued as usual a,t the discretion of the executive. In view of the Government's desire for normal conditions to prevail where possible, it Avas thought very advisable that the game of tennis be encouraged in the national interest of health and physical well-bein;!.
