WILLOW CLEARANCE
ON RANGITAIKI RIVER VOTE OF £1600 Wo are informed by Mr W. Doidge M.P., that Parliament has approved an expenditure of £1600 for willow extermination in the Rangitailci River. The purpose of this vote is to enable a further three miles of river bed to be treated. The Minister of Lands if of opinion that no further funds will be required after this financial year.
