At a meeting of the Te Puke Land and Drainage Board ? the , chairman, Mr A. B. Morton, said that because of his leaving Te Puke he regretted , that he would be. compelled to resign,. Mr Morton lias been a member of the board for 28 years and chairman for the last 18 years. Mr A. J. Collins was appointed chairman. Mr and Mrs Morion are making their home in Tauranga.
