The Beau Pore colt Beaulivre, who was purchased recently by a Wellington sportsman at the sale of the late Mr W. Higgins thoroughbrfvl horses for 2900 guineas, is \.o make his first appearance at the Taranaki meeting. If ready he should be able to carry the field along at a merry pace, for throughout his two year old racing he showed plenty of speed
