Preparation of the site is now well • and the work has been aided by the generosity of the Barton brothers, of Featherston, who presented to the Jamboree the old Barton homestead at Trentham, and the help and generosity of others. Already the site is beginning to bear - something oT the gala aspect of the Jamboree, and each week-end willing Scouts and supporters work oh it, digging ditches, leveling clearing scrub and doing the thousand and .one other necessary jobs.
