LABOUR DANCE
ANOTHER AWAKERI SUCCESS ' • I The Labour Party dance held in the Awakeri Hall on Tuesday evening once again proved its popularity by attracting a large attendance. The dancers were appreciative of the exceptionally good music given by the Five Gaiety Boys. Once again Mr H. W. Taylor capably discharged the duties of M.C. His success in pleasing everyone lay in the well presented programme of oldtime and modern dances. Thanks are due to Mr Stan Tenkins who played extras, accompanied by Mr <4 Pop" Villis at the drums. A good supper was served by the social committee. The prize winners of the evening are too many to enumerate . As a result of many requests it has been decided to hold the next dance at an early date which will soon be announced in this paper.
