BAY BRANCH AT WHAKATANE A meeting of the Bay of Plenty Branch, New Zealand Registered Nurses" Association, was held at Mrs F. Prideaux's residence Whakatan.e last Saturday afternoon. The president Miss Bartlett, presided. Those present were:; Mrs Foster (England), Miss A. J. North (Gis_ borne) Miss E. Evans (New Plymouth), Miss J. A. Mackay (Tanea* ua), Mesdames Irving, Warren, Hawken Dawson, Hodson Hutton, Flet-cher-Cole Le Lievre, Caul ton. Dewar Morice, Prideaux, Misses Gribben, Harding, Strachan. Booth, (Whakatane), Mesdames Lumley, Smeddles Brewster, Misses Bartlett Beswick. Bishop (Tauranga), Mesdames Carthew, Barnett, Bartram. Wills, Misses Malcolm, Macmillan (Te Puke). After genera] business was concluded Mrs Foster gave a most interesting talk on her impressions of Spain during her visits in 1911. and from 1930 to 1936. A .very hearty vote of thanks was Mrs Foster.

The meeting concluded with the sewing of afternoon, tea and a vote of thanks to Mrs Prideanx for her hospitality,.
