TOWN RUGBY CANDIDATE MEETING TO-NIGHT i ' V ' — V" ' - In accordance with the decision at at the last meeting of the -central executive of the Sports Queen 'Carnival, a meeting of Rugby play_ -ers and supporters will be held in the County Council Chambers this •evening at 7.30 p.m. The Union ir- desirous of having as many players as possible present and will also welcome the attendance of those supporters who are interested in the game and who wish it well. It is ho'ped this evening to promote a strong committee which will sup-> port and watch the interests of the Football Queen,. Rugby players • should realise that the Queen Carnival is being promoted largely in -their interests and that the game* they play will in the long run reap "the greatest individual benefit from •the improvements it is desired to bring about.
