WHAKATANE LADIES' CLUB There will be no draw for next week. ' Oft Wednesday next a four.ball match will be arranged at the club' house. Saturday players will arrange their own partners. The following qualified for the championship: A: Miss Black, Mrs Farmer, Mrs Rullard, Mrs E. Miss F. Baker, Mrs Steel, Mrs Dewar, Mrs Sloane. B: Mrs Berg, Mrs Suckling, Mrs Dawson, Mrs Ramson, Miss Sullivan Mrs Buddie, Mrs Fraser, Miss Sloane Mrs Miss Strachan, Mrs Otley, Mrs Luxton, Miss Dell, Mrs Spence, Miss Henderson, Mrs C. Arm. strong. C, Miss Savage Miss Rand, Miss Whiteside, Miss Carter. The committee has decided that the championships Avill not be played till early in September.
