The Vickcrts machine-gun, and thd two Lewis guns were each capable of firing from 600 to ,700 rounds per minute. These deadly weapons arc calculated to be the most effective! for defence, while the Hotchkiss gun also handled by an individual troopar is able to firte a similar number.
