Mr E. L. White, Manager Queensland Insurance Company, and Mrs White were recent guests at the.Com mercial Hotel. From a London personality photographer, we have received a photograph of Miss Olivia Thompson of Whakatane, who is spending a holiday in the Old Country. The enclosure is as under: "Miss Olivia Thompson younger daughter* of Mr and Mrs W. Thompson of Whakatane, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Mr Thompson is a well known stoclc dealer of Whakatane. Miss Thompson. is in England on holiday and will spend most of her time in Scotland staying with h?r brother-in-law's parents Sir Andrew and Ladv McCulloch of Dumfries.
