WHY?
In a certain business in Wellington a business man used to arrive rt exactty 8.50 a.m. and leave exactly at 5 p.m. to catch the 5.10 bus toihs home. on a certain morning" when he arrived at the office, the nightwatchman stopped him ancl said: "Mr Jones, I had rather a peculiar dream last night; I dreamt that thebus 3'on generally go home in was smashed in an accident and vou were killed. I don't believe in dreams, aivt I am not but ther* may be some kind of warning in it."* ''Thank you, my man/' said Jones ''for .warning me thus, but I don't think it nccessarv. " But Mr Jones worried about it dnr_ nig the day and decided at last that he would not take the bus home as usual, but would walk instead. Strange to next morning he discovered in the paper that the accident actually happened and many people we'i»e killed. If it had not beer* for the nightwatchman's timely warning he might now be a corp.se. Later on, when he arrived at his office, he went to the nightwatchman and thanked him warmly for hiswarning and also gave him a reward of £10. Immediately after + his, though, he sacked him! WHY ? The answer will appear next week..
