WHAKATANE FORESTERS

ENTERTAINED AT TE PUKE Whakatane foresters feasted 1 royal, ly when they were this guests of the Te Puke brethren at To Puke on Tues day night. Eleven members of Court Te Toa, Whakatane, made up the party and after cqurt the gathering sat down to roast sucking pig and poultry. A social evening followed, its great success being due largely to the personality and humour of Mr T. E. Palmer, who presided, and those witty introduction of speakers [lid much to prevent the pace of the gathering flagging and maintain the traditionally happy nature of a Foresters' meeting.
