' U ——— PRESBYTERIAN ANNIVERSARY .The twenty-fifth anniversary of the Presbyterian Church's Avork iii Whakatane will be marked by several days of silver jubilee celebrations from Sunday. The Rev A. D. Horwell will take the morning service ou Sunday, and the Rev John Law. ton Maori mission superintendent, the evening. On Monday night there will be a social gathering in the King Street Hall when Mr J. B. Gow, Opotiki. will deliver an address. On Wednesday night there will be a grand concert in the King Street Hall.
