Te Puke will be the next challengers, and then comes Whakatane's turn. Whakatane plays Opotiki at Opotiki on Saturday, July 15. Opotiki were beaten when they played in Whakatane on the King's Birthday and this is the return game. It is a Parata Cup match. Rangitaiki is sending two teams to Te Puke on Saturday next for A and B Senior games. Other games of interest are against the Wailtato Harlequins at Tauranga on July 15, and the Bay of Plenty against Waikato at Hamilton on, July 29th. MINOR UNIONS MATCH TRIAL FOR AFRICAN TOUR Notification lias been received by the secretary of the Baj r of Plenty Rugby Union, Mr W. S. Henderson, that a match has been arranged between the North and South Island minor unions as part of the All Black trials. The game will be played at Christchurch on August 19. The North Island team will be selected from the Thames Valley, North Auckland, Bay of Plenty, King Country East Coast, Poverty Bay, and Bush unions and the South Island side from the Ashburton, North Otago, Golden Bay, Marlborough, Nel son, Buller and West Coast unions.
