VOLUNTARY SERVICE REGISTER IN EVENT OF EMERGENCY A register has been compiled by the Girl Guides Association of NewZealancl of all those members of th'j Movement of 18 years of age and over, who are willing to give voluntary service ic the case of National emergenc}". The response in signing the forms has been very good. These forms include a brief questionnaire as to qualifications for First Aid, Home Nursing, transport—driving a car and ability to make telegraphist work and office Avork. Other questions referred to the care of the old and very young, domestic duties and canteen work. The reg'ster which will be kent at tiic Girl Guides' Dominion Head, quarters, Hastings ■•'will be kept up to date in personnel, through co-op-eration with the Provincial Headquarters of the Guide Association.
