— -o WELLINGTON WINTER MEETING The Wellington Racing Club will stage its Winter Meeting on Tues. Thursday and Saturday of this week. The number of acceptances constitutes a Trentham record for this time of the year, and a really succcssful meeting is assured. The majority of horses engaged at the fixture had arrived on the scene by Saturday and judging by recent work at their home locations, and final gallops at Trentham it Avould appear that among those likely to run prominently in their first day engagements may be:" 1 Hack and Hunters' Steeplechase: Silver Sight, Bridegroom, Cotting. ham.i Woburn Handicap: Wild Talk, Lucul lus Boy ? Erlick Vittoria Hurdles: Fireguard, Misurina General Ruse Stewards* Handicap: Amiga, Flantmarion, Royal Bachelor. Wellington Steeplechase: Power Chief Survoj% Riotous Trentham Hurdles: Royal Dance, Curie t Fireguard Whyte Handicap: Maori Song, Valmint, Haughty Winner. Tc.
